Rainy Saturday....

Woke up to down pours....I was hoping to make the chicken run...a wee bit bigger...but I don't think I feel like hanging out in the mud and rain, so...I'm Chilling with this gal....

Frustration....To the rude woman at the playground the other day...

Well I wont be Quiet!



I often get disheartened when taking my son to the playground.. What is with mothers who snub other mothers.. do you think you are better than every one else??? I CERTAINLY do not think you are better than me ..

When I say hello to you .. say hello back...

If I explain to you that my puppy is just a puppy and not a dangerous animal give me the benefit of the doubt..

We live in a small community . be kind.. our children will all go to the same school.. so be kind .. what is the point of being rude..


Someday you might need me .. or who knows your daughter might end up having a crush on my son...

It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt....

So.... after telling the monsters to stop tattling on each other !!!

Easter fun!

So.......we decided today was a good day to dye Easter eggs....Brady was only sad that we only had 18 to dye...yes "only" 18.... Dad even helped although he was a little tired..

Sooooo.. I wake up this morning to the sun shining, the rooster crowing and I'm like oh yay maybe it will be warm today... nope .. still snowy still cold .. Lame ... I wanted to wear my new Easter dress for Easter .. Ugh forget it .. I am going back to bed...

Unsolicited Advice..

             I know when I was pregnant for the first time I had tons of advice.. some that I was asking for but for the most part most of the advice that was received was rather unsolicited..

A lot of times I said nothing just nodded and smiled but there were times especially towards the end.. I lost it...

Yes I AM going to breast feed .. no I am not going to co sleep.... Yes I think he can have solid food now.. I do not think that it will kill him to cry it out a little ...

I am not mother of the year .. nor have I ever claimed to be.  I am often that person .. giving unsolicited advice.

I feel bad about it .. Im sorry but there have been certain instances recently that I felt that it was my duty to inform someone who was clueless that this would work and that wouldn't and I suppose I wasn't asked for the advice, but lord almighty did they need it!!!    Now did they take the advice... in a word  NO .. Is it biting them in the ass .. . Yes .. but whatever not my child not my problem I guess..

Have you received any unsolicited advice? If so ..what? What was the craziest Advice you have received? Did it annoy you ?

1. backwash I guess..
 2. accident at Target at least Im not sleeping in piss..
 3. a playdate where I cant stand the mom .. at least my kid isnt getting bullied.
 4. teething 6 month old.. you can always put them to bed .. and what not 18 month olds are too mobile..
 5. engorged breasts .. at least Im not pissing myself ..
 6. wtf.. I CANT DECIDE THIS ONE BOTH ARE EQUALY annoying, but since I have a boy Caillou.
 7. stomach flu .. I hate bugs.
 8.teenager .. nothing worse than collic .. I watched a baby that had colic everyday for a year .. fuck that ... 9. Farts.. I live with boys I live in a perpetual world of farts ..
 10.. Church.. those people already are judgy so screw it ...

That mother of the year trophy is totally mine!

So we got bored and had a whole package of ed hardy designed fake tattoos.  Brady got a whole sleave of them! He totally loved it, and was super excited to show them off to the lifeguards at swim lessons. He has also discovered that tattoos get you chicks, all the little girls at the beach are going crazy over him... Oh boy am I in trouble!

Well The Cancer is gone but now I look like frankenstein...

Had my surgery on Wednesday... NOT FUN... Finally took my bandages off friday .. OMFG I look like frankenstein... Ill add pics soon .. but .. I am not feeling the best right now my stitches itch...

Saturday night....

Whenever I think of the words Saturday night I am often reminded of highschool and listening to the misfits in my 74 Plymouth Duster ... My favorite song was Saturday night ... Saturday nights were often full of cruising northern and racing rice burners... and talking crap to boys who thought they knew alot about cars...

But now.... I am a 25 year old mother to a lil boy and I am clipping coupons.. yes folks clipping coupons on a saturday night .. AND .. While figuring my savings its going to perhaps save 12 dollars... I gotta get better at this .. Lol But Im content... I am a rockabilly tattooed mommy now stuck in  Vermont.....

Skin Cancer ... At 25....

Yea .. so .. At the ripe old age of 25 I have a spot on my face... a spot that wont heal ... an open hole that looks like I perhaps got shot...

Thank god for Darthmouth I went one time and was diagnosed with Basel Cell Carcinoma....

Scared me to death.. Seriously
BUT... Apparently because I have brown eyes and my Daddy is Italian .. I am not as much of a ginger as I thought. 
So.. surgery is in order and and yearly skin screenings

Thank GOD!! AND Thank you Doctor Chapman!!  See the round circular thing on my cheek?  That is what Im talking about .. ick ....thank goodness it will be gone in a few weeks I would rather have a scar than CANCER...
